You are selling snake oil here and people are buying it. A 50–50 split in the Senate is not power. It takes more than wishful thinking to make the future you want.

What a bunch of whiners already making comments asserting their superior liberal cred. But turnout by young progressive voters sucks. One good year does not make a mandate. What you don’t get is that you have to vote for the least worst candidate if you want to move forward.

Vote every year for the next 4 years, even if your favorite guy isn’t on the ballot. Get involved. Then if we haven’t made progress yet you will have reason to bitch.

Or, make snarky comments here and on Twitter. Be like a 2016 Bernie bro- pick up your toys and go home. Complain that there’s no point in voting.
