I went back and clicked on each link. I still did not see a single statement from any state official explaining why liquor stores are deemed essential.

I don’t doubt the logic. I’m glad of the outcome (as I sit here sipping a 12 year old rum).

But where is the causal link ? Without it, you are making a great case for why liquor stores should be essential.
